Privacy Policy
Last updated September 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Verlient Financial LLC ("Verlient," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use verlient.com, the Verlient Financial Review service, or other services we provide.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. We may collect your name, email address, business information, communications, selected reporting dates, billing information, and other information you choose to provide.
QuickBooks information. When you connect QuickBooks Online, we may receive identifiers for your QuickBooks company, OAuth authorization credentials such as access and refresh tokens, and financial information made available through the permissions you approve. Depending on the service requested, this may include financial reports, account balances, income and expense information, assets, liabilities, equity, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and related accounting data.
Technical information. Our website and infrastructure providers may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, page requests, timestamps, referral information, and performance or security logs.
2. QuickBooks credentials
QuickBooks authorization is handled through Intuit's OAuth process. Verlient does not ask for or receive your QuickBooks username or password. OAuth tokens may be processed or stored as necessary to access the QuickBooks data you authorize and to maintain a connected account where that feature is enabled.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve our services, authenticate authorized QuickBooks connections, retrieve financial data you request, generate and deliver financial reviews and reports, communicate with you, provide customer support, maintain service security, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations, and administer billing where applicable.
4. AI-assisted processing
Verlient may use artificial intelligence and automated analysis tools to assist in generating financial observations, summaries, and reports from the data you authorize us to process. Automated outputs are subject to limitations and may contain errors. We use service providers that support these workflows and limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary to perform the requested service.
5. Service providers and sharing
We may disclose information to vendors and service providers that help operate the service, such as cloud hosting, workflow automation, AI processing, document generation, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, and security providers. Our current or anticipated service infrastructure may include providers such as Cloudflare, Intuit, Zapier, Gumloop, PDF generation providers, Microsoft, and payment providers such as Stripe.
We do not sell personal information. We do not disclose your QuickBooks data to advertisers for their own advertising purposes.
6. Legal and business disclosures
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests; protect the rights, security, or integrity of Verlient, our users, or others; investigate fraud or misuse; or support a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate protections.
7. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to provide the requested services, maintain authorized account connections, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention periods may vary by data type and service.
You may request disconnection of your QuickBooks account or deletion of eligible personal and connected-account data by emailing nash@verlient.com. Some information may be retained when required by law, necessary for legitimate business records, or preserved in routine backups for a limited period.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration will never occur.
9. Your choices
You may decline to connect QuickBooks, disconnect an existing connection, or stop using the service. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible personal information. Rights may vary depending on applicable law and your location.
10. Cookies and analytics
Our website and infrastructure providers may use cookies, similar technologies, or network-level analytics to operate the site, understand traffic, maintain security, and measure performance. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or choices regarding non-essential tracking.
11. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through these services.
12. International processing
Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. When required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate protections for cross-border processing.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest revision. Material changes may be communicated through the website or another appropriate method.
14. Contact
Questions, privacy requests, deletion requests, or QuickBooks disconnection requests may be sent to nash@verlient.com.
